Today there were two Canada geese visiting the lake and this morning I got my first sight of daffodils in the valley, so maybe, in spite of the rumblings on the weather forecast about approaching snow, we won't be in line for that and spring really is on its way.
Main plan for yesterday was to be a 'lady who lunches' and meet up with Gill and Julie, but probably not at the same restaurant as last time. However, on my way home from our walk, I started feeling the first effects of a migraine so, instead of living it up in Chester, I spent several hours curled up in bed, suffering...
and Paddy curled up in sympathy.

Oh dear - you have my sympathy I suffered for years - turns out it was chocolate allergy!
Mine are not usually too bad these days - since I gave up teaching! ;)
I hope that you are feeling better today. Chester will still be there another day.
Migraine? Now that is one affliction I am pleased to say I have never experienced. I hope that by now the pain has passed and you'e back to normal.
Much better, thanks, CW.
Yes thank you, YP, although I suppose my next thought could be, what is normal? ;)
Pleased to hear you are feeling better :)
Thanks, Rosie. :)
Not a nice thing migraines.. I should know.. still curling up with Paddy would have helped :-)
I would rather give birth than suffer from a migraine (prior to migraleve, that is - have you tried it - works every time)
Lucy
Sage, it did, thank you. :)
Lucy, I used to get a tablet from the doctor, not Migraleve as it disagreed with me but these days I don't get them often and nowhere near as bad as they used to be.
