"The A483 is closed," Keith announced this morning, having just watched the local news on television.
"Oh no! Why?"
(The concern being because it is on my route to work and I am not very familiar with alternative routes. )
"There are some cows on it."
Could only happen in Wales, really, couldn't it?
I went to get my GPS set up.
Life in north east England (yes, we've moved!) with an eccentric Welshman and a small white dog that thinks he's a Rottweiler.

If this happened in England, they'd be the 'wrong sort of cows'!
What's the problem there are cows on Welsh roads every morning! Glynis in her Range Rover and Mfanwy in her Punto - to name but two. Of course there are no cows heading from Wales towards English primary schools!
You should have gone there and told them to MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOve, Jenny !!!! (Well, someone had to do the joke !) ;)
If you don't like it in Wales, you can easily fuck off back to where you came from - we won't miss you !
I say "Anonymous" old chap, watch your language why don't you! Jennyta is a nice lady who chose to live in Wales because she likes it there though with morons like you skulking around the place with huge chips on their shoulders I am surprised she remains! If ever you're in my neck of the woods I would be happy to box your ears for you!
Snowbabies, you could be right there. :)
YP, you saved yourself in your last sentence!
Craig, you are sad! Nice ... but sad. :)
Bet you can't say that in welsh, anon!
Folks, if reading this claptrap is the most exciting thing you can be doing of an evening, maybe you need to get a 'review' section from the weekend paper and discover the world of cinema, theatre and books so you don't have to endure reading this 3rd rate shite any longer...
