Thanks, Ancestry! You see, it takes very little to make my day.
Now, if we can just have an improvement in the weather ... ?
Life in north east England (yes, we've moved!) with an eccentric Welshman and a small white dog that thinks he's a Rottweiler.
So, we're still no further forward on the British Gas smart meter front and I've given up making non-existent appointments with them...

Glad to hear that you're back in business on the Ancestry front. I let my subscription lapse when I'd taken my research about as far as I could, but I have been back recently while researching the history of our house. And here's a useful tip:
I also updated to Family Tree Maker 2017. If you know it, it includes symbols you can click for both Ancestry and the IGI. But I discovered that you can see the details and download images where they exist without the need for a subscription!
Some women prefer flowers, chocolates, candlelit dinners to keep them happy but for you its Safari connectivity... and that's not the name of a new "personal fragrance".
Thanks very much for that tip, SP. I don't use Family Tree Maker but was intending to look at it at some time. However, I did read somewhere that it is going to be discontinued.
There you are, YP. There are some of us around. :)
It was dropped by Ancestry and is now produced by MacKiev but it still integrates with the Ancestry site where you can publish your research.
