VENTURE CAPITALISM
You have two cows.
You sell three of them to your publicly listed company, using letters of credit opened by your

that you get all four cows back, with a tax exemption for five cows.
The milk rights of the six cows are transferred via an intermediary to a Cayman Island Company secretly owned by the majority shareholder who sells the rights to all seven cows back to your listed company.
The annual report says the company owns eight cows, with an option on one more.

You have two cows.
The one on the left looks very attractive.

THE COALITION
The bankers had two cows until they left the gate open and the cows ran off. So the government gave them money to buy more cows, but the bankers refuse to share the milk and skim off all the cream.
This is TRUE. My father in law was at our Moscow Embassy back in the 50's. When buying bread it was always sold by weight. A loaf would be weighed, a little bit cut off, a little more cut off, etc, until it weighed exactly a Kilo, or 500 gms, etc. At the end of the day all the bits were then dumped. Communism wouldn't allow anyone to have that tiny bit more than anyone else!
Spot on, SP!
Incredible! Or, sadly, maybe not...
Wait for the reintroduction of the feudal systems of old.
The Swiss weigh your lunch in some cafes, and you pay according to the cost per gr.
Cafes in Russia weigh only some of the items that make up your meal and you get a slip of paper to let the cashier know the cost of it/them. Perhaps the weighing of bread translates into weighing ice-cream, today.
Hmmm, interesting!
A WELSH BUTCHER
You have one cow.
You slaughter it and turn it into a range of meat joints.
You sell them in your butcher's shop.
I see this could run and run!
Love it and so true!
