There are so many profit-hungry commercial organisations who seem to have carte blanche to spoil our roads and pavements. I wonder if they have to apply for permissions and I also wonder if any pressure at all is ever placed on them to make sure that their replacement surfaces are of the best possible level and quality.
Don't meddle with tradition. It wouldn't be nearly so much fun if they actually used their brains.
I think they do have to apply for permission, YP but not sure about whether their work is inspected afterwards - probably not!
In these days of computerised everything, Cro, there is no excuse for this.
