More holes

Today will be Gardening Day, but it will also be hoovering, dusting and tidying up day as we have friends coming for dinner this evening. But yesterday, was 'ladies who lunch' day in Chester with friends Gill and Julie. Chester, of course, was indulging in its favourite pastime...
Yep, that's right, closing roads and digging holes.

Oh, and of course, there were the usual eccentric characters around.

Anyone lost an elephant?

Ah so yea ventured over the border me dear, and you've brought back the pictures that indeed prove that the Saxons are indeed a strange lot ;o)
And was the lord of darkness doing with his minions beneath the clock bridge?

Hard to say what they were doing, John - I didn't want to appear too nosy but probably collecting for charity. As my only claim to welsh heritage is having a grandmother who was born in Mold, I suppose I have to be included in that 'strange Saxon lot.' ;)

Sort of a double agent then? Nah not so much Saxon, strange maybe ;o) but I wouldn't go as far as Saxon! Take care me dear and enjoy the rest of this glorious day.

You too, John. :)
Fair hair, green eyes - sounds like Saxon. :)

Oh yes - tidying up cos people coming for dinner! One of the most effective ways to get the housework done quickly! I would recommend this - works every time! Oh and don't forget the kitchen drawer trick - last minute job - run round like a headless chicken cramming everything into the drawers - so much that you can't shut them! lol! Oh yes, I can identify with this! Have a good night. What are you cooking? Dxx

Lol! I did ask them if they could come every week as it even made Keith tidy up NASA. We were lazy and ordered in an Indian takeaway - very nice too.

Plaster board and dust

So, we're still no further forward on the British Gas smart meter front and I've given up making non-existent appointments with them...
