This morning, Paddy and I set off into the valley, under the bridge where the stream runs and into the fields beyond. The weather is beautiful and, even though the fields are still brown and most of the trees are bare, there are hints of a forthcoming explosion of green, if you look carefully.
Paddy had a bit of trouble negotiating the kissing gates but he enjoyed the walk and, on the way home, when we ran into a walking acquaintance who has two impeccably behaved collies, he too, on this occasion, was impeccably behaved.

Of course, he may just have been too tired to bother!

A lovely walk indeed. Tis a tad misty here - just wondering if the sun is going to get out - fancy a walk with Freida at some point. Gardening is on the cards - and also we have plan B! The removal of a fireplace - oh yes we know how to live! lol!
Lawn mowing is next on the agenda for me, mrsnesbitt. :)
Lawn mowing for you and me both. First cut of 2011 !!
nice to think that we are both walking under the same patch of sky!!!
First for our lawn too, SP.
John, yes indeed, there's no beating good old north Wales. :)
Good old Paddy! He seems to be growing up. Your photos remind me that this year I shall not see that lovely British clarity in the early springtime. Here, although it is usually very warm you don't see sharp blue skies.
I always love this time of year, YP. You can almost see the sap rising and the leaves unfurling on the trees.
Very rural, it looks like a very pleasant walk in good weather and especially at this time of year. Flighty xx
It is a lovely walk, Flighty.
Ohhhh gorgeous. I love Spring. I love Wales! Thank you!
You're welcome, Daphne. :)
