Spring comes early

These were the views as I walked this morning. It was a lovely, sunny day, a light breeze and quite warm. Yes, I know it's not natural in early February and it won't last, but it's so much more pleasant than all the rain and wind of the past few weeks. Now, as long as we can avoid the snow, we're sorted.

It's been lovely and warm here today, hope it lasts untill the weekend. Still wouldn't mind a foot of snow before winter is over ;-)

Paul.

We've got a foot of snow here in Mimico, Paul. Shall I send it your way?
Green grass in Wales, Jenny. It looks so inviting!

In recent days I have walked out in just a thin suit jacket - not my usual arctic adventurer fleece and "Where's Wally?" bobble hat. If this is global warming I want more!

'Where's Wally' bobble hat? I'd love to see a photo of that sight!

Dad noticed today that some daffodils have already sprouted in the garden, Jenny. We estimate that they must have been growing for at least a week - coinciding with our victory over England in the rugby ! Surely just a coincidence......?

Absolutely, Craig!

So, we're still no further forward on the British Gas smart meter front and I've given up making non-existent appointments with them...
