Ancestry again

I am happy to report that, as of this morning, I can see all images, jpegs etc in Safari and Chrome for Mac.
Thanks, Ancestry! You see, it takes very little to make my day.
Now, if we can just have an improvement in the weather ... ?

  1. Glad to hear that you're back in business on the Ancestry front. I let my subscription lapse when I'd taken my research about as far as I could, but I have been back recently while researching the history of our house. And here's a useful tip:

I also updated to Family Tree Maker 2017. If you know it, it includes symbols you can click for both Ancestry and the IGI. But I discovered that you can see the details and download images where they exist without the need for a subscription!

    1. Thanks very much for that tip, SP. I don't use Family Tree Maker but was intending to look at it at some time. However, I did read somewhere that it is going to be discontinued.

    2. It was dropped by Ancestry and is now produced by MacKiev but it still integrates with the Ancestry site where you can publish your research.

  2. Some women prefer flowers, chocolates, candlelit dinners to keep them happy but for you its Safari connectivity... and that's not the name of a new "personal fragrance".
