- Being able to see my grandson, Paul growing into a delightful, intelligent and energetic boy that his father would be so proud of.
- Having two dogs instead of one. Jake joined us last new year and he and Paddy get on so well.
- Doing Pets as Therapy visits to a nearby retirement home with Jake. He loves going and the residents love seeing him.
- Being in my second year of learning Welsh.
- Elder Daughter having passed her consultancy exams. Soon she will be a consultant in care of the elderly, which could come in useful for us one day!
- Seeing Younger Daughter settled in her own house and living an active life.
- My iPad Christmas present from Keith. (Yes, I know, very materialistic of me!)
For anyone who would like to have a go at this, feel free!

A very interesting list of achievements/pleasures. Lovely. Ipad eh? Just updated my mobile phone - that takes all my intelligence! lol!
I've just acquired my daughter's old iphone 4 too, Mrs N. :)
It's a good list of things to be pleased with. You should include the iPad as I would be very pleased if I had received one for Christmas. I have just got an iphone which I love. Happy New Year x
A lovely list. Very balanced. I'm hoping my son gets a new iphone as he's promised me his old one... :-)
I might do one of these for a post too.
Lady Magnon has an iPad; the battery life is quite short, but otherwise she never without it.
A good list all of which I'm sure will also give you much pleasure this year.
Flighty xx
Thanks, Rosie. You too. :)
Good idea, Katherine. Hope you get the iphone. ;)
I find the battery life is good on mine, especially compared with non-Apple products.
Thanks, Flighty. :)
An interesting list, particularly the therapy dogs bit, my two are xhooligans still, but maybe in time xx
They have to have an assessment, Sage. Jake passed, Paddy failed! :( However, he can try again in April.
You have to watch it with these iPads you know. Mrs P complains that she never sees me without it these days! Oh and like you. I inherited my daughter's old iPhone, but it is nowhere near so addictive.
Ipads are definitely addictive, SP and yes, more so than iphones. ;)
I commented before but it seems to have gone astray. Perhaps it was all the swearing?...A lovely list - reminding us all to count our blessings.
Lost in the ether, no doubt, YP. Yes, it does put one in the mood to count one's blessings.
