Locksmith required - for a plane

The phone range just as I was about to get some lunch ready. I went back into the living room.
"Have you got a job?" I asked.
"Yes," said Keith, "Someone wants me to open a plane at Harwarden," he added casually, "a Piper."
And he was off. like a small boy whose Christmasses have all come at once.
He loves planes. A few  hours later, he came back, like a small boy whose Christmasses have all come at once...

  1. Amongst the many things I've never said, is "Oh damn! I've locked myself out of my plane!"

  2. Perhaps they should launch a new daytime TV show in which Keith is the hero. It would be called "Locksmith 24/7" and Keith would be rushing round North Wales like Superman, helping travellers and pilots out of key situations. The theme music would be Intermezzo from the Karelia Suite by Sibelius.

  3. Me neither, Daphne. ;)
YP, it sounds good to me. After all, it couldn't be more boring than the stuff he watches already - Scrapheap Challenge, Salvage Squad, Top Gear.... the list is endless!
