Z cars part deux

Well, the police car has gone. Where? Who knows? On Thursday afternoon another police car came down the road, turned opposite our house and sped off again. By yesterday afternoon, the abandoned one had gone.
Questions spring to mind:
Did the police in the car which turned opposite the house, do so because they wanted to check out who had made the phone call? ("Ve are votching you. Ve know vhere you live!")
Did they know that the car had been sitting there for three weeks before my phonecall?
Did they care?
Am I becoming one of those paranoid, nosey neighbour types with too much time on my hands?
And the biggest one:
WHY was an empty police car sitting in our road for three weeks???
Are they going to tell me? No!

Because of the telephonic exercise of your civic responsibility, North Wales police will be able to reduce their patrol car purchasing plans. May I suggest that you keep your eyes peeled for other abandoned police vehicles in the area. After all, the majority of this great nation's police officers simply ain't that bright. It shouldn't be surprising that they forget things.

That's an intersting take on the situation, YP, and I could demand a percentage each time I save them the cost of a new car. Good thinking, Batman!

The saga of the police car has made me laugh. I wonder what sort of police you have there in Wales where they don't miss one of their own cars.

Plaster board and dust

So, we're still no further forward on the British Gas smart meter front and I've given up making non-existent appointments with them...
