Pension

Final details of my pension arrived on the doormat today. If I'm careful, I should be able to get by without having to do any more supply teaching. Yay!!! So my collection of 'big books' can be donated, all the reams of planning, resources, guidance etc (how many forests have been decimated for all that?) can be recycled and I can reclaim some space on my bookshelves. Felt pens, coloured pencils etc can all be disposed of - no, wait a minute - I can put those to good use - ideal for art therapy.
And the whistle? Alternative uses for that do not immediately spring to mind. Any suggestions?

Oh Jenny, Jenny, Jenny.

You Welsh temptress, you. Any suggestion I'd give you would end with the words "and get them to whistle Dixie" and involve a colonoscopy to find the offending article.

Woohoooo on the pension. Tea and lamb chops at your place then?

Sounds good to me, Ian, except that it might be tea and nut cutlets as I don't eat meat. ;)

Congratulations! I enjoy both my jobs but when I hear about people about my age retiring I think - - wow - - amazing - - and a slight twinge of envy!

Your turn will come, Daphne. ;)

Lucky you, I'm afraid I have next to no pension, I gave it all up for motherhood and I don't have a head for finance. I am really worried about what will happen to me.

Plaster board and dust

So, we're still no further forward on the British Gas smart meter front and I've given up making non-existent appointments with them...
