Valentine Day

Valentine Day and a beautiful bouquet of roses and extra large card awaited me this morning. When I opened the card, I noticed a small drawing on one side looking, to my untutored eyes, not unlike a small swarm of bees. Casually, I asked what it was.
"They're Heinkels from the Luftwaffe," Keith replies, apparently slightly miffed that I hadn't identified them immediately.
"Oh," I say.
"Good, aren't they?" he continues enthusiastically.
"I'm lost for words," I reply diplomatically.
And I was.

  2. Keith is obviously love-crazed and may be in need of counselling as killer planes and the roses of love do not belong in the same place.
PS Love the new picture of your daughter that you are now using in your profile but at 58/59 you should be wise enough to face up to who you really are.

  3. No, Flighty - he was serious!
YP, it's 58. 59 is still some months away so let's not go there yet! I appreciate the compliment but my daughter might not. ;)

  5. My friend works at Tesco and he made an online card with the Tesco Value sign in the background, saying "Be my Valentine", isn't that cheeky, especially as he is on holiday in Dubai!

  6. Not a lot, Arthur. ;)
Ellee, the best you could say about that is that it's the thought that counts.

  7. Jenny, you know I'm never one to point out a mistake BUT.......you made a typo when you entered your age, inadvertantly putting the numbers back to front when you said you were 58.
