I'm a bit angry that Hugh isn't here to witness the developments you outlined but you must have seen the recent news which claims that more soldiers have been dying through suicide than from IED's etc.. Though he was alone, he was not alone.

Yes, I have seen those reports and statistics, YP. Hugh was referred to a psychologist after he had been in Bosnia when he was only about 19. He went once and then made strenuous efforts to have the referral deleted from his records because of the negative way counselling etc was viewed in the army. I guess it's the same today. PTSD is too often seen as a sign of weakness.
