Says it so well

Modern English has a much larger reservoir of words than any other language there has ever been. It isn't precious. It is adaptable and happily takes on board useful words or expressions from other languages. In Canada, it must be weird enduring equalisation pressures from the French speaking community because their language is, relatively speaking, so narrow and inflexible.

Just spotted your piece (from 2007) about Keynsham, spelt K.E.Y.N.S.H.A.M. I recently lost a bet about someone knowing what I was talking about. I couldn't believe it!

Quite a relief here when you're learning welsh, though, YP!
