Blood taken for blood tests, including liver - rather worrying!
Appointment for ultrasound sent to local hospital.
Disappointingly, the doc didn't suggest that I should desist from all housework, cooking, dishwashing etc until further notice.
I did try it on Keith but he wasn't having any.

Well done for getting over that hurdle Jenny. Now you have set the wheels in motion. In the meantime for your liver's sake, lay off the gin!
May I suggest you consume one teaspoon of honey each day. It MUST be cold pressed (not heated), good quality, natural honey (Manuka is the best, but not essential). This is not a cure-all, but does benefit the insides in general.
YP, I do NOT drink gin!!!
Cro, thanks for that, I will certainly give it a go.
Oh... Thinking of you, Jenny. Gallstones?
Manuka honey is very useful for lots of things. Hope it helps this!
I hope so too, Katherine. Won't know any details until I get the blood test results and have the ultrasound.
Well if you're not drinking that gin, is it okay if I have it?
Help yourself, SP. :)
Hi Jenny, just wondered how you are regarding the gall-bladder problem. Don't expect you want to put details chapter and verse on your blog. Just letting you know you are not forgotten. Enjoying your recent posts about Jake & Paddy!
