I am tempted to comment on the position of Paddy's muzzle but shall refrain in case I cause offence!
I'm betting that there was a specially wrapped present of dog treats which is where he got the bow from.
I expected him to be turned out in full santa suit eating mince pies and drinking sherry. Bit disappointed really!
