No, SP, that's cows. Horses can sleep standing up for short periods but also take turns to lie down to sleep and the others stand guard over them.
Happily one of the horses lying down has had the decency to get fully dressed. It always makes me blush when I walk past fields of naked animals. How come they have got away with it for so long?
