Regarding "Politicians make their decisions, which impact on so many innocent personnel and their families and which are by no means always the right ones, but that does not detract from the sterling work and bravery of the men and women out there doing their job." You're so right. In repeating my usual refrain "BRING OUR BROTHERS HOME!" I of course mean no disrespect to members of the armed forces - quite the opposite in fact.
