Don't you just hate it when...

...you get home, click onto your blog, only to find that it's gone decidedly weird? The only thing I can think is that the author of the template was hosting the pictures for it with Photobucket and has run into problems with his/her account. So it's back to good old Blogger templates for the time being.
Christmas at Kathy's was lovely - peaceful, lazy, lots of excellent food and wine (and very nice whisky for Keith) and lots of fuss, cuddles and strokes for Paddy.
Today we have come back home while Kathy goes on further travels.
The snow is gradually disappearing but our road and pavement are like the proverbial ice-rink.
Oh and my mystery present?
A Sony ebook reader! I'll have great fun with that. Can't wait to start downloading ebooks.

I like the new picture at the top of the blog - much more unisex than those feminine flowers you picked before. Is the new picture of Switzerland? Norway? New Zealand? Canada? One thing's for sure - it can't be Wales cos it's not raining!
An e-book! What's Keith feeling guilty about?

The thing that puts me off an ebook is that I think it won't be the same without real pages to turn - - but then I used to think that I wouldn't be able to write on a computer without writing it out by hand first - - and now I can't write by hand!!

As you know (because you informed me !) I've lost my blog photo too.

I've been researching e-books for a long time now and can't decide...Kindle, Sony, Nook ?? New ones and updates to current one should be coming along all during 2010 and I'd want one that can accept ALL formats. So I'll be interested to get your review.

It's Wales with the Clwydian hills in the background, YP. Keith feeling guilty? Hmm, never thought of that...
Daphne, I know exactly what you mean about real books - time will tell.
Ian, I'll let you know when I have more idea of what you are talking about - (Kindle? Nook? Different formats?)

Plaster board and dust

So, we're still no further forward on the British Gas smart meter front and I've given up making non-existent appointments with them...
