A nice walk

It seems that Jenny is off to Sheffield on Friday to see Kathy. I did hear her on the phone making arrangements but, as I was curled up comfortably on my armchair, snoozing gently, I didn't take much notice. But then, she started telling Keith about it and he has been making weird comments all evening.
"Ha! You'll be dead on Friday evening," he says
"You'll end up with legs like a dachshund," he gloats with a wicked gleam in his eye.
Putting two and two together, it seems that I am going too. Well, that seems OK. I remember that Kathy has hens in the garden - good for chasing if I am ever allowed to get near them. No, the problem is that they are planning on taking me on a ten mile walk! Well, I know Border terriers are supposed to have lots of stamina and can walk all day without a break, but as I am only half Border terrrier, I am wondering if I have inherited those genes, or only the chasing ones.
Aren't dachshunds those little dogs with very short legs?
I might have to try and opt out of this...

Woof! Woof! Grrrrr! Woof-woof-woof! Grrrr! Whine! Whine! Woof! (That's dog language) Loose translation - "Enjoy your trip to Sheffield Paddy and don't forget, you can always poop and piddle in the car!"

No he can't, YP! Shame on you for leading a good dog astray. ;)

Today was great weather for a 10 mile walk. I would loved to have had the chance. I hope you didn't bottle out.

Not at all, Ellee, but we only did 6 due to lack of time.

Plaster board and dust

So, we're still no further forward on the British Gas smart meter front and I've given up making non-existent appointments with them...
