Happy Easter

This morning, Paddy and I have been for an hour-long walk. I took this photo to show you how lovely and blue the sky is up here in north Wales. You see, it doesn't always rain here!

Happy Easter, everyone!

You can't fool us. That's a stock photo of the giant redwoods in California ! Looking a bit lean I have to admit.

A very Happy Easter to you and Keith (and Paddy) and I'll be going for my walk soon.

The kitchen sounds favourite.

I wish the sun was shining here today but at least it's not raining.

Flighty, Maureen, it looks as if we in the west had the best of the weather today.

Ian, maybe you need to give me some lessons in photograpy to get me up to your standard. ;)

I'm still a teacher, I'm afraid... although I've reinvented myself too. In middle age I've become an author.

Due to a glitch in amazon.uk’s system, I believe I’ve written the only crime thriller in the UK that doesn’t appear on amazon.co.uk. My publisher’s many other titles are listed, and my book can be ordered from all other uk online suppliers, as well as amazon sites around the world. Amazon.uk refuse to acknowledge their technical error and insist my book is displayed on their website. It isn't.

I’m an insignificant individual, powerless to influence this huge corporation, but their indifference has incensed me. I’m attempting to battle amazon.uk’s virtual monopoly of the UK online book market by asking readers to order my inexpensive paperback through other online uk suppliers.

If you would be kind enough to consider supporting my campaign against a faceless corporation, please check out my blog for details of Cut Short by Leigh Russell.

I have not got a book listed on amazon. please help. I haven't actually written it yet so you have been allocated chapter 14. Please do not write it from the dog's point of view or people will notice that all the chapters were written by different people.

I'll check out your blog, Leigh. Good luck.
Arthur, I am overwhelmed that you have allocated a whole chapter to me! Better get writing then. ;)

Plaster board and dust

So, we're still no further forward on the British Gas smart meter front and I've given up making non-existent appointments with them...
