Children and Health and Safety

News of the mother who allowed her nine year old son to travel on the New York subway alone comes right on the heels of this little item which missed the headlines.
These teachers! Can't trust them to do anything right...Right?

Well I am one and I can put a new loo roll in the holder and I can open a can of beans and I can tie my own shoelaces... so there! The next generation is safe in my hands. Well it would be if I were allowed to throttle the little buggers!
