Such disappointment!

The day out was lovely. The weather was better than perfect when you consider that we are not yet even half way through February, beautiful blue sky, sun, not a breath of wind. Even the sea was like a mill pond as was Llyn Tegid, which we passed on the way.

So, you might wonder, where does the disappointment come in?

A glance at the photos of that cute little restaurant the Proper Gander will give you a clue. We were just too late!
Keith was distraught...

Always a disappointment when a favourite place shuts down.

It was a magical day, wasn't it? The sky was ablaze as we drove home from Worcester. (Does that tease?)

Ok I've just wasted 15 minutes trying to spot the 8 differences in the Llyn Tegid photos before I realised they're exactly the same.

That was a nasty trick to play on an old man, Jenny.

(I still think there is one less branch on the tree in the 2nd photo)

Ah, but they were taken nanoseconds apart, Ian!

Oh well, Rob, you can't win 'em all, and the weather more than made up for the lack of culinary delights.

Jenny, I'm trying to think of something entertaining and/or erudite to say, but sadly, I'm being pestered by a cat. The bestest, most beautiful pussycat in the whole world, of course! Not to say the most demanding!

11.45pm is far too late to be erudite, Rob, although entertaining might still be on the cards. Stick with the pussy cat. ;)

Hurrah I've now spotted the difference. Photo 2 doesn't exist.
It was all a Bobby Ewing type dream all this time.

Gotta go. I'm only allowed out for so long.

You win the prize, Ian. A gold star is winging its way towards to as we speak!

Plaster board and dust

So, we're still no further forward on the British Gas smart meter front and I've given up making non-existent appointments with them...
