A sunny day!

I went to see my counselling supervisor yesterday. This is where she works and on a lovely sunny day (yes, really!) like yesterday, I think she is very lucky. I went into Chester an hour early so that I could have some lunch on the canal bank and enjoy the sun and peace and quiet before my meeting.

Lucky you! Course, we are suppose to get the sun over the three-day weekend. :)

We'll share it with you, Laura. We're good like this up here in north Wales. :)

Was that feathery creature by the lock gates your lunch? Best barbecued in future. Our daughter went off to the Leeds Festival today - so glad the weather forecast is good for a change.

Some years ago we visited Chester by narrowboat and moored on what was probably exactly that bit of canal. And it was lovely. And it still looks lovely.

I don't eat meat, YP so our feathered friends are quite safe with me.
Daphne, it is a lovely spot and there are always boats moored along there.

But Jenny, you told me last night that you went an hour early so you could go skinny-dipping in the canal ! Why are you hiding this from your readers ????? ;0)

Craig, you are getting very close to being barred from this blog! ;)
Think on, lad!

Nice place for a quiet half hour or so whilst having lunch.
Have a good weekend.

It was lovely, Flighty. Have a good week-end yourself.

Plaster board and dust

So, we're still no further forward on the British Gas smart meter front and I've given up making non-existent appointments with them...
