Childhood photos

This week's science focussed on growing and changing and as I had forgotten to ask my class to bring their own baby/young child photos in, I quickly grabbed some of Younger Daughter's to use. (Well, you don't think I was going to use my own, do you and have the children wondering what it must have been like in the days when the world was black and white?)
So there they were, in a line along the whiteboard for all to see and I smiled to myself as I imagined how absolutely furious she would be if she knew what I had done.
Good thing she doesn't read the blog then...

Did they used to have the old fashioned cameras in your days Jenny ? You know the ones - where the photographer puta a black sheet over his head, then once the huge light flashed and expelled smoke, you then had to stand still for 5 minutes ? I bet those days were so innocent to live in - but so long, long, long, long, LONG ago ;)

Also, did you give a name to the horse who pulled you to school every day on the old traps ?

Well at least your baby pics aren't sepia prints Jenny! I remember tales of group school photos...taken much the same way as Craigy baby describes ...and some little upstart at one end tearing down to the other end of the group...and managing to appear in the same photograph twice.

Was IN some of those elongated group photos, Susan but not the one who ran round to the other end.

Craig you're dead!

Susan, that is hilarious - did they really do that ? ! I have a feeling (and I'm sure Jenny will agree with this) that if I were in school in those days I would have been THAT child tee hee hee ;)

You got that right, Craig!

Plaster board and dust

So, we're still no further forward on the British Gas smart meter front and I've given up making non-existent appointments with them...
