Art appreciation

Last Wednesday we took the key stage 1 children (ages 4-7) to the Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool. It was a very full and tiring day but perhaps the highlight was when we walked into one of the rooms and three of the children immediately spotted a large painting in one corner (and try as I might, I can't find it featured on their website).
What attracted their attention was that there were nude men in the painting with their assets very obviously on display.
Within about two seconds, bush telegraph was in operation and there was an immediate flocking of little bodies to that corner, with much giggling, laughing and pointing.
I might add that those members of the public present who were not trampled underfoot in the stampede, were highly amused.

Actually no, Wallo, when you've seen one, you've seen 'em all! ;)

Ah, children. They're amused sometimes by the smallest things. Er, well you know what I mean, Jenny.

Plaster board and dust

So, we're still no further forward on the British Gas smart meter front and I've given up making non-existent appointments with them...
