Daylight robbery

Dentist today. £80 for filling, clean and polish! Why doesn't Wales have NHS dentists!!!!!!

  4. Here we now have th situation is some areas where even children can't find an NHS dentist and there is a generation growing up with rotting teeth - exacerbated of course by all the sweets, fizzy drinks etc that they consume.

    Flighty and Star, it adds insult to injury that prices should vary so much. Is it all down to what the dentist feels he can get away with for the area he's in, I wonder?

  8. bugger me! thats extortionate (or however it spelt) ! ! ! !

    I would rather have rotting teeth than pay that... although being 15, and having nhs dental care, all my treatment is free :)
