Whilst I have visited London briefly a few times in my life, I must confess it would take a lot to persuade me to go there these days. But you don't need to go anywhere near the metropolis to appreciate this little gem!. If you travel on public transport anywhere in the country, this will strike a cord. Enjoy!
Life in north east England (yes, we've moved!) with an eccentric Welshman and a small white dog that thinks he's a Rottweiler.

Hi .. Thanks for the visit ... I dropped by to tell you that I've been to London before and never used the tube... Never needed to as I 've never stayed in London for long. I used the coach, the train and the taxi only... But now we've got a similar attraction here in my hometown which is Porto - the tube is being progressively set and it's THE NOVELTY!... Have a great day! :)
Thanks Jenny. I drive a commuter train here in Toronto, so those announcements struck a chord with me. Well done!
Awwwwww....I love London tho I could live without the tube!
Can you not comment on my blog at all? Damn comment business! lol
Oh....and I'm using I.E.6 and I can see your scroller :o)
p.s I just looked at your source code and I think your delete trash can is missing because the tag is missing. Don't count on it because you know my history with delete comments but I can't see it on yours anywhere. Hope it helps....pity I can't sort my own! hehe
Is there really a tube station called "Elephant & Kalashnikov"? I've never heard it mentioned during a game of "Mornington Crescent".
;-)
Me neither!
Hi Jenny, and thanks for the erudite comment you left on my blog - much appreciated and it's nice to get a view from someone on the inside. Some good points well made. Only just discovered your blog but I'll be coming back regularly now. Thanks for posting the link to the Underground blog - I stumbled across that last year some time but subsequently lost the link. Well worth another look, I think.
Sorry for the anonymous comment - Gemma gets the same, it seems daft that you need to have a blogger account to comment any other way.
